{"id":7061,"date":"2018-10-09T10:28:35","date_gmt":"2018-10-09T15:28:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/diversefacilitysolutions.com\/?p=7061"},"modified":"2022-02-23T20:46:57","modified_gmt":"2022-02-23T20:46:57","slug":"everything-counts-dfs-management-training-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diversefacilitysolutions.com\/blog\/everything-counts-dfs-management-training-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Everything Counts &#8211; DFS Management Training 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every year DFS sets aside time to bring together our onsite directors, manager and HR support staff for a DFS Management Training &amp; Conference.\u00a0 The event goes by a number of names\u2026.training, retreat, conference, meeting.\u00a0 Whatever we choose to call it, it\u2019s certainly an event that we all look forward to every year.\u00a0 This year, the event theme was \u201cEverything Counts\u201d.\u00a0 We posted Success Posters around the office that highlighted a success at each and every one of our locations.\u00a0 No matter how big or how small, \u201cEverything Counts\u201d and this year we celebrate success!<\/p>\n<p>Usually during the event we talk about client relations, new forms, new technology, and other resources that are important for our teams to be successful.\u00a0 This year though, we focused totally on the development of our employees.\u00a0 We focused on developing management skills.\u00a0 We focused on communication tools and developing the skills to help us listen, and respond, to our employees and our colleagues.\u00a0 We learned, we grew, we became a stronger team.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not all about classes and training though.\u00a0 There are some activities and fun mixed into the two days we spend together.\u00a0 Overall though, it brings a team of people together who\u00a0are spread out across the US.\u00a0 We talk to, learn from, have fun with, and listen to each other.\u00a0 We have the time to connect with people we don\u2019t see every day.\u00a0 And it reminds us how many people are all working towards the same goal, every day.\u00a0 No matter where you are \u2013 whether it be San Antonio, New York, Burbank\u00a0or Alsip \u2013 we\u2019re all working together!\u00a0 We\u2019re reminded that together we can make a difference in our employees\u2019 lives and all of those around us. \u00a0WE can influence other people\u2019s daily lives.\u00a0 WE make the world a little cleaner.
